Xylitol is a sugar alcohol sweetener that’s 1:1 as sweet as sugar so it’s easy to use around the kitchen, with no conversions required. It’s all natural and is often used to sweeten sugar-free chewing gum. Xylitol comes in two different types. Standard, which is made from corn, and birch which is made from birch trees.
Warning Xylitol is poisonous to pets. Take care around furry friends.
